Project Details
The Calcasieu River project consisted of removing material from within the Calcasieu River Ship Channel and placing the material within the designated Confined Disposal Facilities (CDFs) adjacent to the Calcasieu River and Pass-- including removal of material from Devil's Elbow. The project also included retention dike construction, and extensive surveys, as well as ditching and draining of disposal areas, removing a weir structure and replacing it with an updated weir.
